25 April - Arriva to be sold by Deutsche Bahn; Nebras Power buys Brazilian solar; EDPR selling 1GW of offshore wind capacity

German railway operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) is looking to offload its UK transport unit Arriva and is inviting expressions of interest in the asset by May 3. 
Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG) has appointed Samuel Leupold, former CEO of Orsted Wind Power, to the new position of Chairman of Wind Energy.
Canadian Solar has signed an agreement for the sale of an 80% interest in a 482MW portfolio of contracted solar projects in Brazil to Nebras Power Investment Management BV.
EDP Renewables (EDPR) has signed a sale and purchase agreement to sell its full equity shareholding and outstanding shareholder loans in an operating onshore wind portfolio to institutional investors advised by J. P. Morgan Asset Management for €800 million ($890 million).

24 April - GIP might sell Edinburgh Airport; $45m for Central African solar; Majes Siguas II finally getting financed

One of Peru's flagship infrastructure projects is finally getting the financing it needs after 4 years of waiting. GIP is considering selling the sixth largest Airport in the UK - Edinburgh Airport. The World Bank is lending $45m to the Central African Republic to help build a solar power plant near its capital city, Bangui.
