18 June- Grasshopper Solar closes $185m acquisition financing

In the news:
Canada-based Grasshopper Solar has closed on $185 million of five-year senior debt from sole lender Deutsche Bank to finance the acquisition of a portfolio of solar projects in Japan.
Kier Group, has announced a series of measures to get the group's borrowings under control and restore investor confidence in the business.
The Metro 5 consortium has negotiated a margin cut on the combined bank and project bond debt it raised in 2015 for the Milan Metro Line 5 project.

Climate financing by the world’s largest multilateral development banks in developing countries and emerging economies rose to an all-time high of $43.1 billion in 2018, boosting projects that help developing countries cut emissions and address climate risks

05 June - KfW IPEX to finance Helsinki aiport expansion

KfW IPEX-Bank is participating in the financing to expand and modernise Helsinki Airport.
DIF has closed the acquisition of a stake in the operational Dublin Waste to Energy PPP project.
The Ital Gas Storage project in Italy is said to be out to banks for an amend-and-extend on the pricing and tenor of up to €1 billion of its original project debt.
Canada's national government and the provincial government of Quebec have announced that they will commit over C$500 million ($375 million) in the project to rehabilitate the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel.
