Canada-based Grasshopper Solar has closed on $185 million of five-year senior debt from sole lender Deutsche Bank to finance the acquisition of a portfolio of solar projects in Japan.

DIF has closed the acquisition of a stake in the operational Dublin Waste to Energy PPP project.
The Ital Gas Storage project in Italy is said to be out to banks for an amend-and-extend on the pricing and tenor of up to €1 billion of its original project debt.
Canada's national government and the provincial government of Quebec have announced that they will commit over C$500 million ($375 million) in the project to rehabilitate the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel.
