Canadian Solar has secured BRL487 million ($120 million) of non-recourse project financing from Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) for its 114MW Francisco Sa and 112MW Jaiba solar power projects.
Blackstone Infrastructure Partners along with its partners and affiliates has issued a nonbinding preliminary proposal to acquire the remaining shares in Tallgrass Energy it does not already own.
Brazilian conglomerate Odebrecht SA , which has been in bankruptcy protection since June, has filed a plan with the court proposing to give creditors the rights to receive proceeds of asset sales and future profits of the companies controlled by the conglomerate.
North American wholesale data centre provider Vantage Data Centers has raised $548 million in new securitized notes, rated “A-” by Standard & Poor’s.

One big story today:
Sponsors of phase one for the $1.2 billion 1,338MW UTE Geracao de Energia (GNA I) LNG-to-power project in Brazil – Prumo Logistics (47%), BP (20%) and Siemens (33%) – reached full financial close last week on the funds backing the scheme. The deal signed on 15 March 2019, and the debt structure has remained the same on meeting conditions precedent.
